Apocrypals is podcast where two non-believers read through the Bible and try not to be jerks about it, while preserving their clean tag in iTunes. The show is hosted by a scholar and a clown, but there is no way to tell which is which. In each episode, your hosts read a passage from Bible (in the broadest conceivable sense) and discuss its origins, authorship, context and events, while making references to pop culture that may include Roy Thomas, anime and professional wrestling. Episodes are released biweekly, barring exigent circumstances, on Sunday mornings at church time, unless Chris forgets to set the time, or they go off-schedule.
